Function Description   Technical Characteristics

The Models FE-7913A and FE-7914A MIL Qualified Distribution Systems feed low noise reference signals to multiple users in satellite ground stations and surveillance systems where constant phase and high isolation must be maintained at the output ports.

Amplifier modules are constructed of cast aluminum and circuitry is encapsulated to minimize vibration induced phase noise. Individual module power regulators and high isolation cascode amplifiers ensure that output phase shifts are less than 0.001¡ when adjacent modules are removed or terminated.

The systems can be supplied with amplifier modules operating at any frequency from 100 kHz to 100 MHz. In addition, multiplier modules are available to provide an output signal whose frequency is any multiple of the input reference frequency.

Narrowband ovenized input crystal filters in the FE-7914A suppress line related spurious signals and reduce phase noise at frequencies greater than 30 Hz from the carrier.
